Scrunchie Sewing Workshop

Lydia from We are the Whimsy teaching a scrunchie sewing workshop at the village cafe, Martinborough

Sat 22 Aug

9am - 3pm

Come along for a relaxed day of sewing, creating, and celebrating the joy of fabric.

Lydia from 'We are the Whimsy' will be hosting a pay what you like scrunchie sewing workshop, where you can learn to make your own handmade scrunchies using beautiful fabrics from her workshop.

Fabric is something she absolutely loves working with. Through 'We are the Whimsy' she has been exploring fabric in a whole new way through fabric signage, drapery styling, and creating tactile pieces for weddings and events. This workshop is a little peek behind the scenes into the world of textiles and making.

You’re welcome to bring along your own special fabric scraps, sentimental pieces, or leftover textiles you’d love to transform into something new. Otherwise, there will be plenty of fabric available to choose from.

Not a sewer? You can still join in the fun and support the journey by purchasing a handmade scrunchie created by Lydia. All proceeds from the day will go towards funding the next backdrop creation for 'We are the Whimsy'

While you’re there, come say hello, have a coffee, and see one of the 'We are the Whimsy' drapery backdrops in person!

No sewing experience needed. Just bring yourself, your curiosity, and a love for making.
